According to Euronews, the subsidy scheme is valid for houses built before 1991. It covers about 30% of the town’s properties.

The city council will subsidize the cost of buying a house. There is also a subsidy available for renovation costs. The maximum amount of subsidy that can be received is €30,000, or about Rp 502 million.

Presicce-Acquarica is one of the most beautiful villages in Italy. The town center is filled with historic buildings and streets, as well as churches with luxurious designs. The surrounding countryside is home to olive trees and produces high-quality olive oil.

The requirements for participating in the subsidy scheme are as follows:

  • Be under the age of 40
  • Do not own a house in Italy
  • Commit to living in Presicce-Acquarica for at least five years

Presicce-Acquarica Mayor Antonio De Donno said the scheme is an effort to revitalize the town.

“We want to attract new residents who can help revitalize our town,” De Donno said. “We offer the opportunity to live in a beautiful place with a relaxed lifestyle.”
